Job Description

Reporting to the QLD State Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working with the State Manager to develop sound BD and existing customer strategies.
• Preparing, conveying and adjusting customer quotations to secure sales orders.
• Developing regular weekly, monthly and quarterly call cycles.
• Working with stores and internal sales staff to ensure all customers’ needs.
• Being a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
• Calling on and developing relationships with new and existing customers being industrial electrical wholesalers, switchboard builders and larger direct customers.

The Successful Applicant

Highly competitive candidates will possess these qualities:

• A track record of proven success in business development.
• A willingness to learn and be part of a team.
• Familiarity with Switchboard Builders, Electrical Contractors or Electrical Wholesalers Industries is advantageous.
• An electrical suitable trade qualification would be highly desirable – not essential.
