About the Role:

Assist patients with personal care, mobility and communication needs to support them in daily activities and functioning.

Assist nurses with routine technical support functions (including setting up for procedures and cleaning equipment).

Maintain accurate documentation in patient records to meet legislative requirements.

Extensive orientation and education packages will be available to you.

Where you’ll be working:

Guyra is the highest town in the New England Tablelands region of New South Wales, and as a result often sees snow in the winter months.

Popular attractions amongst locals and visitors include the Guyra Historical Museum, and the Mother of Ducks Lagoon Nature Reserve, which is part of a volcanic crater with a circumference of 14km.

Guyra is located just over a 6-hour drive from Sydney, and a 5-and-a-half hour drive from Brisbane.

Requirements:

Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or have equivalent experience.

An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.

Job share / part time arrangements will be considered.

To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
