About the role
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a Security Consulting Manager , reporting to the Manager, Business Security Engagement , you will work as an individual contributor to provide broad information security consulting services to both technical teams and business areas within Australian Retirement Trust (ART). You will also be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and guidance to internal teams to ensure security is continually built into new initiatives to identify and manage ART’s information security risk.

In this permanent role, you will assess the security posture of solutions or services in order to provide security architectural and design advice to technical teams as well as to management. You will promote good security solution design practices, ensuring that technical solutions meet ART information security policy and standard requirements. This is a key role within the business, and the ideal candidate will be confident in providing authoritative advice and guidance on the requirements for security controls in collaboration with experts in other functions such as Legal, IT & Risk. About you
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications would include:

Demonstrated expert knowledge and deep understanding of IT and information security management

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field

Relevant industry recognised qualifications in Information Security such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA or equivalent

Architectural and/or solution design experience and knowledge of primary cloud hosting providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)

Ability to identify and analyse trends within the IT security and financial services industry and apply best practice solutions

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary frameworks and/or methodologies:

ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 and/or NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), Australian Information Security Manual (ISM)

TOGAF, SABSA, ITIL, COBIT, AGILE

Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

Broad knowledge of current Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technological tools and methodologies.
