Project Quality Assurance Manager

We are currently looking for a Project Quality Assurance Manager to work on our premier OneSKY project, which is a multi-billion-dollar project to integrate our Civil and Defence airspaces.

Reporting to the Global Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that processes which are implemented, are in accordance with the requirements of the customer, Thales and statutory regulations.

Further from this you will focus on internal and external customer satisfaction by supporting the operational teams to improve their solution and software & hardware engineering processes and practices by identifying areas of risk and resolving problems in a proactive way.

This position could be an ideal fit for a Project Manager who has had experience within the quality domain coupled with strong knowledge of Systems Engineering or Software

Alternatively, you could be a Systems Engineer who has worked heavily on large projects and would like to make the transition to a more project driven role with a focus on Quality Assurance.

Please note, we’re not looking for skills or experience within Testing as this is a role focused in Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities:

Identify risks with a proactive approach, implement mitigations actions and collaborate with Project teams in resolving problems

Provide insightful advice and stimulate actions based on independent assessment of performance

Build trusted relationships and influence project teams to focus on delivering Customer satisfaction

Confirm Customer’s technical and non-technical requirements are well understood and managed efficiently by all members of the project team

Ensure deliverables comply with the applicable regulations and standards.

About You

Tertiary Qualifications, coupled with proven project management, system, hardware or software engineering

Good knowledge of systems and software development principles’ and lifecycles

Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of CMMI desired
