About the Role

:

The Administrative Officer (AAEP) reports to the Principal, Business Managers or nominated delegate. As the Administrative Officer (AAEP) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform a variety of day to day administrative and support services that are routine in nature and directed by the Principal or the Business Manager.
  • Undertake routine activities including reception (telephone and counter enquiries), arranging appointments, correspondence and general administration, maintaining school records, such as student admissions, enrolments and departures, processing incoming and outgoing mail and email, and once approved, ordering.
  • Perform a variety of other administrative or support services as directed
  • Student Management – Entering rolls (absent teachers), student absence management, Student enrolments, Data entry in OneSchool regarding contacts with parents. Student late and leave passes.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings, policy documents, reports, forms, Draft, check correspondence, with guidance from the Principal or Business Manager.
  • About You:

    As the Administrative Officer (AAEP) you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing accurate and timely administrative support to Students, the Business Manager and Customers. You will work within existing guidelines and school procedures to provide basic resolution of problems.
    Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • OneSchool and IDAttend experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to work harmoniously within a team environment
  • Demonstrated high level of communication skills
  • Efficient multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, achieving quality outcomes
  • Professional discretion
  • Ability to confidently acquire the knowledge needed to fulfil the above skills and responsibilities.
  • When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
