About the Role

As an Assistant Finance Business Partner your role will be to support the Finance Business Partner team, stakeholders, and CECG executives within the organisation.

This dynamic role provides assistance to Finance Business Partners in preparing detailed financial planning and analysis services, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, financial analyses, and other ad hoc requirements. In this role you will build relationships with critical internal clients across the organisation and drive initiatives to continuously evolve FP&A services to improve the performance and operations of CECG.

What you will focus on

Monthly results preparation, analysis, and management reporting, including analysis of P&L results during and following period end close, and the preparation of monthly management packs

• Perform financial budgeting, forecasting, and planning to better enable the organisation to achieve its strategic goals.
• Perform financial analysis including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, driver-based analysis, and other forms of financial modelling.
• Provide meaningful financial insights to clients through regular and ad hoc management reporting.

What you will need

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business and hold current associate membership level of a relevant professional accounting body such as CA/CPA.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience across similar Finance roles.
• Experience within Financial Planning & Analysis functions.
• Ability to develop and manage & influence stakeholders and build partnerships to support effective organisation change.
• Ability to access, analyse and interpret data to support the continuous improvement of services.
• An understanding of financial systems and reporting tools.
• Effective consultation, facilitation and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to analysis financial data to understand insights and provide strategic advice.
• Financial modelling and business case development skills
