Our client, a leading Health Care company is currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their team in a permanent career opportunity.

In this role, you will join the team during an time of exciting growth for the networking division of the business as they look to expand their Sydney team. You will work with healthcare businesses and technology stakeholders to develop, implement and operate fit-for-purpose network solutions that address current and future needs.

In this role you will:

Assist in the development of architectures for complex solutions, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed upon by external and internal customers

Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in the strategic application of network technology

Align with industry trends, best practices and compliance with information security policies and processes

Implement changes to network devices and services according to functional requests, policy and compliance requirements

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to build and maintain processes to provision network services and products

To be successful in this role you will have:

Core Cisco routing and switching experience

Check Point firewall experience would be a bonus!

CCNP certification

Wireless experience – wireless access points, cisco wireless WAN controllers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong stakeholder management
