About the role:

  • To assist Housepkeeping manager to ensure through effective supervision that all services offered in the Housekeeping Department are carried out with the utmost efficiency, quality and courtesy as per the Departmental Operations Manual.
  • Ensures all Housekeeping employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • To assist Housekeeping Manager for the inventory of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, printing and stationary for the rooms, linen, etc. and to check that they are handled and stored correctly.
  • Conducts frequent and thorough inspections of guest rooms and Rooms areas in general together with the Front Office Manager and/or Housekeeping Manager.
  • Ensures all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented.
  • Qualifications

  • Well developed Computer Skills particularly MS Office, email and Hotel Property Management system (preferably OPERA)
  • Detailed knowledge of use of cleaning agents and chemicals
  • Good trainer,
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements
  • University Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management
  • Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills
  • Minimum 2 years similar work experience at luxury hotel or similar environment.
