You will be part of our talented team in Sydney that is dedicated to developing industry-leading hardware and software systems for transport applications. You will support this mission with the following tasks:

  • Acquire new customers in our core markets and explore opportunities to expand into adjacent segments.
  • Support and further develop existing customers and key accounts.
  • Prepare, submit, and successfully close tender responses.
  • Inform customers about the distinct advantages of r2p’s products and services by drawing on your product knowledge.
  • Deliver informative presentations and demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver, design and engineer products and services which meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with our development and product teams in Europe, North America, and Asia.
You are

What You bring to the Table

A tertiary qualification is desirable but not mandatory. You have about three years of experience in a customer support/relationship, sales, KAM, or a similar role in a project-based industry.

You have:

  • Demonstrated transferable experience in achieving sales targets and driving the sales process from inception to closure.
  • Experience in preparing and submitting tenders.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Sound business and commercial acumen.
  • A keen interest in and experience with selling technology/electronics products.
  • General strong computer literacy.
  • An Australian citizenship or a permanent residency.

The following will be highly regarded but is not required:

  • Experience with selling to and managing the relationship with government authorities and/or entities.
  • Understanding of the transportation industry’s tender contract environment.
  • Knowledge of IP-based communication systems.
  • An existing personal network within the passenger transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
