As an Assistant Relationship Manager, you are an integral part of the Commercial Relationship Management team and business service proposition. You will assist the Relationship Manager to develop sustained business growth whilst maintaining sound risk management to ensure a quality portfolio is maintained.

We have opportunities available across Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney metro across the following segments:

• Business Banking – we support commercial and agribusiness customers across Australia. Our Relationship Managers and Assistant Managers focus on building meaningful relationships with our customers that add value and help them to realise their goals and ambitions.
• Specialist Distribution – we consist of 4 key specialisation sectors encompassing Agribusiness, Emerging Corporate, Health and Specialist Property customers. Each of these businesses have a national presence and offer a high touch, insight led relationship model providing customers with tailored banking solutions.
• ANZ Private – we cater to high-net-worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their assets. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and concerns and their financial situation. In this business you will work alongside a Senior Private Banker to support top performing, business development growth sets with clients that have complex requirements around investment and family wealth strategies, debt-driven approaches, philanthropy and impact investing, and financial advice.

About you

• Strong financial analysis and understanding of the structuring of security arrangements.
• Experience in managing compliance/ annual reviews.
• Demonstrated customer service and sales skills (internal and external) including relationship building.
• Excellent communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Interpersonal Skills: confidence, professionalism, integrity and strong sense of accountability.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
