In 2021, Entain acquired unikrn to launch the company’s esports practice. Unikrn is one of the world’s preeminent esports betting platforms. Unikrn paved the wave in the sports betting industry by offering esports odds across 35 titles, as well as virtual esports and streamer betting. Unikrn also boasts a skill-based betting platform that allows players to wager on themselves in ranked matches in the world’s most popular gaming titles. Objective of the role: In this newly created role as Marketing Manager, Creative Operations, you will ensure the creative team is functioning efficiently and effectively in order to meet project deadlines, quality standards, and overall business objectives.Role Responsibilities:
Overseeing:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the creative team, including project management, resource allocation, and workflow management.
- Continuously monitor and analyze project performance, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met.
- Coordinate a team of project managers, designers, writers, and other creatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
Innovation & Implementation:
- Develop and implement processes and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the creative team.
- Collaborate with the head of marketing, creative services and the associate creative manager to develop and execute effective campaigns.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure that our work is innovative and effective.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as product marketing and digital communications, to ensure that the creative work supports their goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the senior management team to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the esports and iGaming communities
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay current on industry trends and best practices
Maintain Efficiency:
- Ensure that all campaigns are compliant with regulations and laws in the esports iGaming industry.
- Ensure that all creative work meets the highest standards of quality and is on-brand.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, partners, and clients.
Key Skills Required:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative operations or similar role

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field

Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management

Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates a deep understanding of conceptualisation, branding, advertising, and design

Experience coordinating a team of creatives

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and experience with project management software

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Advantageous Requirements:

Understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements for the industry

Experience in the esports iGaming industry

Travel recommended (~10%) to support the business and local / regional activations.
