About the Role:
Our Queensland Government client is seeking an excellent ICT Trainer to play a key role in delivering training services for a large-scale transformation Program. You will ensure a successful transition and implementation of the Program and contributes to benefits realisation, change coordination, capability development, and organisational business readiness.

This role has a strong training development and delivery focus. However, previous hands-on experience in change management, stakeholder engagement, human-centered design principles, and self-starting, flexible approach will assist you to be successful in the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design, develop, deliver, and assess training via a range of delivery channels, managing scheduling, attendance, and completions.
• Use instructional design capabilities to create training content and appropriate learning activities.
• Undertake administrative tasks relevant to the change program and training delivery according to the department’s objectives and with good governance practices in mind.
• Contribute to the implementation of the change management plan and the client’s Organisational change management (OCM) framework. Support delivery of change program activities, including communication (key messaging) and capability initiatives and assisting the Change Manager in preparing and facilitating a range of workshops, readiness sessions, and coaching sessions.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and change champions to promote new ways of working within business units across Queensland.
• Engage with the change champions to monitor organisational change impacts, enable benefits realisation, and assess local business readiness needs.
• Identify and evaluate change, communications, and capability development risks relevant to program delivery.
• Demonstrate knowledge of user-centred design thinking methodologies and techniques.
• Contribute to the creation of engaging, innovative, and measurable user experiences that enhance website UI/UX.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong Queensland Government experience is essential.
• Experience in designing and/or implementing UI UX solutions is essential.
• Extensive experience with taking responsibility for training design, creation, packaging, delivery, maintenance, and assessment, in line with agreed learning outcomes.
• Strong experience with assisting a user community in the provision of transition support and change planning.
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
