Senior Software Developer / Engineer – .wpf + C#

Their offices are funky premises on Peel Street and are quite frankly fabulous! 
There is not much hierarchy and they don’t take themselves too seriously. It is mostly guys aged 20s to mid 30s. There is a real sense of fun, practical jokes and the like.

They are not for everyone – you’ll need to be organised and good at planning your work. You need to love what you do and take pride in quality. You need to love learning and helping your teammates with challenging problems. You need to show initiative and be flexible to new challenges. You’ll get to work with and learn from people who are at the top of their game.

Why do they need you?
  
They are a custom software house (more about the tech later) and have built up a great track record over the last 19 years. They work on projects of all shapes and sizes and the work they do is challenging, yet interesting and rewarding.

Your role might include working on cutting-edge health, mining or finance solutions for leading national companies, helping develop their own Proptech product, or working with entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life; in other words, plenty of variety and plenty of opportunities for career advancement.
They’re looking for software engineers/developers who:

• IS AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN 
• Have substantial real-world experience, including providing code reviews and assisting more junior developers
• Can demonstrate a penchant for solving complex problems and getting things to work that others couldn’t
• Are creative with a keen eye for detail
• Are keen to learn and experience a diverse range of projects and problems
• Will review new technologies and shape future development methodologies.

Developers who aren’t interested in managing client accounts or leading teams – they just want to get better and better at development. These developers get a kick out of solving the problems nobody else can solve. They love learning about new tech and relish the details others miss. You’ll have 2+ years of experience in 

WPF and C#

Languages:.Net (C# and/or VB), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, T-SQL
OR Java / SpringBoot / Angular / MySQL and SQL
Framework: Several from the following ASP.Net (MVC, WebForms), WCF, WinForms, Angular, Web API, jQuery
Stack: Windows, IIS, SQL Server
Source Control: TFS or GIT
Requirements elicitation/documentation
Design: UI/UX, system architecture
