The Network Inventory Manager will report to the General Manager Operations (Tom Hannaford) and is a twelve-month opportunity. The DC Operations team enables the successful, reliable and efficient delivery of product movements through the Super Retail Group Distribution Centre Network, as key partners between Brands and Distribution Centres and working with all product movements and storage processes.

About the role
The Network Inventory Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of inventory control processes for all products within the Super Retail Group Distribution Centre network, driving key measures of accuracy and quality.
This role also forms the key governance requirements around stock loss and accuracy/control improvement measures, ensuring viable standards are maintained throughout the network and accounting for product flow as it relates to inventory controls (receiving, replenishment and slotting) and third-party warehousing/logistics management. Working with other Supply Chain centres of excellence, including technology, operations and planning, this role is an integral part of the collective accountability for sellable asset (stock) management and movement.
To be successful in this role
- Extensive experience in Inventory Management practices, preferably with experience across both Warehousing and Distribution Centre operations
- Experience with all functional areas for Distribution Centre operations
- Experience across project management and delivery
- Experience leading an operational team
- Ability to build effective relationships (internal/external), along with experience in influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders
