Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager with large-scale delivery experience to join the Innovation, Marketing & Technology team in Sydney. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Opportunity
Working on multiple projects, you will be responsible for delivering initiatives within the IMT strategic priorities, embedding operational excellence, enabling business growth and support customer outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Apply strong commercial and business case disciplines in the identification and development of technology improvements that support the business strategy, in close collaboration with relevant business IT stakeholders.
- Working with key stakeholders, form delivery teams and relationships with defined governance structures, and clear roles and responsibilities to deliver projects.
- Lead and drive the coordination of resources, planning and scheduling, risk, issues and dependency management, authority delegation and reporting, financial tracking and stakeholder management, chair, and lead project steering committees etc. adhering to Stockland project governance.
- Set up and facilitate relevant workshops with working groups to a defined purpose and set specific expectations and outputs.
- With strong business acumen, partner with business leads and SMES, develop a strong understanding of the business objectives and key processes.
- Consider, recommend, and drive the change management approaches suitable to the change impact, size and nature of the project.
- With a customer centric and innovative mindset, look at continuous improvement opportunities, regularly review template artifacts, policies, and procedures to ensure relevance and value.
- Develop and present proposals for digital and new technology initiatives, in close collaboration with relevant business stakeholders and with a commercial perspective.
- Develop internal capabilities and external partnerships that enable the delivery of technology, including innovation experiments and pilots. Identify, develop and coach talent in the team.
- Lead in a way that supports the Stockland Values and build a culture of agility and customer centricity, both internal and external.
- Communicate clearly on the achievements, issues and learnings from technology and innovation initiatives.
About You
- Degree in Business Management, IT or related discipline will be highly regarded
- Experience in leading initiatives in agile environments
- Experience in managing projects on large ERP, CRM systems
- Leading large scale technology change programs through delivery and transition to business-as-usual arrangements
- Strong commercial skills in technology management
- Experience in partnering successfully with business leaders and external technology organisations
- Experience in applying appropriate governance frameworks for managing cost, benefits and risks of agile technology and innovation
- Ability to understand new technologies and communicate their concepts and relevance in business terms to business stakeholders, and technical terms to technology stakeholders
