This opportunity
The Marketing Manager – Mobile and Mobile Broadband (MBB) Upgrades is a pivotal role in the Customer Lifecycle Management team. This function is responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies to increase mobile handset and MBB upgrades, retention rates and to grow the customer lifetime value. This position requires a strong commercial acumen, understanding of customer behaviour and segments, the ability to analyse data, project management and have effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement data driven mobile and MBB upgrade strategies that maximise customer lifetime value aligned with the organization’s overall goals and objectives. Use data analysis to identify key trends and insights to drive decision making in the development of retention and growth strategies. Identify and analyse customer segments, develop, and execute customer journeys and targeted marketing campaigns to drive incremental upgrades, utilising a variety of channels including email, SMS, push notifications and social media Continuously measure, monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and performance of data-driven upgrades and retention campaigns. Develop strategic plans to introduce and launch new devices and products to the existing customer base resulting in mobile upgrades and incremental sales. Identify data driven opportunities to conduct experiments that can result in profitable commercial outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including devices, product, sales channels, and customer care to develop and implement mobile and MBB upgrade strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors, present and prepare execution plans and campaign performance reports. Monitor, analyse, and stay up to date on industry developments and trends, new devices, and competitor activity related to mobile and MBB device upgrades. Knowledge and experience
5+ years of experience in data-driven marketing, customer lifecycle management with a focus on retention and recontacting preferably in the telecommunications or financial industries. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Strong business acumen with the ability to make sound and effective decisions based on a thorough commercial and market analysis. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Strong understanding of customer behaviour, segments, retention, and sales. Proven project management and campaign execution able to work independently and manage multiple projects at once. Knowledge and experience working with marketing automation systems and platforms such as SAS360, Salesforce, Adobe Marketing cloud, Marketo or Pega. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience working in an Agile approach and using Jira and Confluence are a plus. Data-mining skills, with experience using SQL, R, or similar tools are a plus but not essential. Benefits and perks
