About the role

Located in our Adelaide head office and reporting to the Application Integration Manager, the key responsibility of this role will be to design, develop and support application integration solutions primarily based on Oracle Integration Cloud technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and Develop Integration Solutions

  • Collaborate with other internal and external Integration Developers to deliver Integration solution designs.
  • Through technical specifications analyse and define required integrations.
  • Define the platform/toolset to be used to deliver the integration requirements.
  • Apply the best practise integration design pattern and avoid integration anti-patterns.
  • Develop and test the new integration solution across the agreed solution architecture.
  • Ensure the integrations developed are to an acceptable quality standard.
  • Create and Maintain Integration documentation to an acceptable standard.
  • Ensure the agreed solutions are delivered in the required timeframes.
  • Assist with and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

    • Assist with Production Support

  • Administer and proactively monitor technology solutions to ensure stable and sustainable service and performance.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 Service Desk support across a variety of integration and application platforms.
  • Collaborate with software developers and other technical staff to assist with other support requirements.
  • Collaborate with external application software support parties as required.

    • ABOUT YOU

    Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant certification and experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an integration technology development role
  • Experience using a major Integration Framework/Platform
  • Experience working with SOAP & RESTful API’s & use of API tools (e.g. Postman, SoapUI etc.)
  • Experience in providing application and integration technology support
  • Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong time management skills
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Good knowledge of Integration patterns, design principle and security
  • Knowledge of relational data models and Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • Experience using a Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Experience in working with a major Cloud based ERP
  • Development experience with multiple DB platforms (MS SQL & Oracle)
  • Experience with XML/XSLT/XPATH
  • ITIL Experience
