About the role:

To secure new business within the Wedding, Private and Corporate events market space. To ensure the venues exceeds the client’s expectation, enhancing the business’s reputation for providing premium wine and providing Australia’s finest winery experience.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Manage all aspects of customer communication to secure sales for Weddings, Private and Corporate events to achieve sales objectives through growing events and achieving sales budgets, delivering a well-executed event.
• Payment Processing of deposits and follow up payments
• Responsibility for maintaining and managing the daily enquiries and existing database of potential and existing private events.
• Outbound sales calls and cold calling for potential private/corporate events to build the overall business.
• Recognise opportunities to up-sell event services and products to customers. The ability to be a strong negotiator to implement up-sells.
• Seek opportunities to cross sell other business services
• Ensure professional administrative service is delivered to all internal and external customers by providing exceptional customer service
• Coordinate and attend requests for site visits during the week and on weekends as required by potential customers
• To attend industry trade events as appropriate.
• Weekly and Monthly progress reporting to include details of Sales – actual and in pipeline
• Maintain accurate records, comply with administrative controls and adhere to Company procedures and policies. Submit written reports where appropriate or required.
