The team is innovative, dynamic, and collaborative and you will work across teams to drive success to support research, advanced technology, advocacy, and intervention for individuals living with this congenital disease.
About the Role:
The Community Fundraising Campaign Manager is responsible for developing and implementing operational, marketing, and fundraising plans for the charity’s signature peer-to-peer and digital fundraising campaigns.
The role works closely with the Campaigns team and inter-departments to develop campaign strategies that effectively acquire, convert, and engage participants, and drive revenue generation to achieve campaign targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with internal support teams and agency partners to develop and implement multi-channel digital communications and segmentation plans, above and below-the-line advertising and media campaign plan, collateral and merchandise across all target audiences to maximise participant acquisition, conversion, and fundraising outcomes against agreed targets
- Sourcing, monitoring, and analysing campaign data and insights, and reporting on trends and priorities to influence future direction of the campaign
- Building and retaining key internal and external strategic stakeholder relationships to support the development, growth, and sustainability of the campaign
- Working with the Digital team to ensure all relevant platforms and systems are ‘fit for purpose’ in order to maximise campaign efficiencies and revenue
- Supporting the Corporate sales team in acquiring new corporate sponsors and participants
- Working with the Supporter Care & Experience Manager to oversee the sourcing, training and management of temporary/contract resources to effectively respond to campaign participant enquiries and complaints, to maximise participant experience
- Developing and executing logistics strategy to ensure the cost-effective and efficient sourcing and distribution of campaign merchandise and collateral to individuals and corporates globally
- Managing income and expenditure to ensure the marketing and operational strategy is delivered within the agreed budget
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in community fundraising, peer to peer campaigns and/or events
- High level experience liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong project management experience and the ability to manage conflicting priorities under pressure
- Experience in above and below the line media advertising and promotions
- Experience working across key fundraising and marketing platforms i.e. Funraisin, Campaign Monitor, Burst SMS, Conversr, One Signal and others (or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal working with a high level of attention to detail
- A warm, pro-active and approachable nature, with the ability to build rapport and bring teams together to meet strict deadlines
- A passion and interest to work for a NFP
