- Salary: $84,539 – $92,941 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the Role
We are seeking an Advertising Officer to enhance the brand profile of UniSA Online and maximise enrolments in our 100% online degree programs. In this role, you’ll plan, develop and implement advertising strategies contributing to our always-on, national advertising campaign, and monitor and analyse performance to optimise the efficiency of our recruitment funnel.
About UniSA Communications and Marketing
The Communications and Marketing Unit’s (CMK) role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities, internally and externally, among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. The Unit plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution’s brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.
The Advertising team plays an important role in the integration, planning, delivery and reporting of UniSA advertising activities. The team provides high level consultancy and advisory services to the University community on the development of advertising plans, and strategies and guides their interaction with external communications suppliers.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and deliver integrated advertising campaigns for UniSA Online based on analysis of relevant data
- Prepare new programs for launch, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and produce promotional materials
- Develop and maintain up-to-date performance reports and dashboards to monitor and improve campaign performance, using your analytical skills to inform decision making, recommend enhancements and provide strategic guidance to key stakeholders
- Provide advice on performance improvements in all work tracking meetings and key stakeholder forums to ensure activities are delivered on time and within budget
- Liaise with the Advertising and UniSA Online marketing teams, and other CMK team members, to ensure the effective integration of advertising plans and activities across broader marketing plans
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing integrated advertising campaigns for a wide range of audiences
- High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact with senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Experience in producing marketing materials with reference to digital advertising and integrated marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated experience in analysing and interpreting data and statistics and preparing marketing analysis and reports
- Proven experience in delivering marketing projects that cross individual work areas and involve the participation and management of advertising and media suppliers
