  • The Role
    Perform complex life support technical activities and associated tasks working to agreed priorities and outcomes owing to high priority and Systems Safety requirements.

    Ensure Systems Safety Risk Assessment (SSRA) aspects of Defence capability are considered and incorporated into life support technical activities.

    Accountable for exercising assigned technical authorities and technical regulatory authority to comply with Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) Instructions, Army Aviation Systems Branch airworthiness regulations / instructions while using the Engineering Maintenance Database.

    Provide technical life support knowledge and advice, engaging with stakeholders to deliver and exercise appropriate technical delegations in line with relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks. Investigate, report and perform technical life support assessments that support Defence materiel capability life cycle.

    About our Team
    The Aviation C4ISREW Training and Support Systems (ACTSS) team within Army Aviation Systems Program Office (AASPO) and is made up of a Military, Public Service and Contracted Workforce. The team is responsible for the management, delivery and support of a range of common products and systems across multiple Army aircraft types. The Products and Services are managed in three main areas, Army Aviation Systems Support, Aviation Mission Support and Training Systems.

    Our Ideal Candidate
    Our ideal candidate would be able to interact in a complicated environment with numerous stake holders and agencies. The candidate will have a current working knowledge of current Aviation Aeronautical Life Support Equipment and is comfortable working within a CASG engineering management system.

    The candidate will need to have a logical and methodical thought process and be able to succinctly develop engineering documentation. This person must be able to work within a small team and manage multiple large and small projects at any given time.
