Job Summary:

The Technology Operations Lead is responsible for driving the operational excellence of the IT infrastructure and services. This includes working with the IT team to ensure delivery of the IT strategy in line with the business objectives, as well as delivering an excellent customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the IT operations team and ensure the delivery of high-quality technology services.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT Infrastructure, including platforms, networks, storage, security, and virtualization.
• Ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, scalability, and security of the IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain hardware and software assets, and ensure the timely installation of software patches and upgrades.
• Analyse IT performance and ensure KPIs are met.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT policies, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and manage associated contracts.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to team members.

Experience:

• Office 365
• AWS
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in the implementation, management and maintenance of information technology infrastructure and IT systems including cloud architectures, server technologies, and communication technologies, LANs, WANs, telephone, voice, video and data communication systems.

• Working knowledge of enterprise systems such as point of sale, Time and Attendance and Microsoft Productivity Suite.
• Strong knowledge required of virtualization technologies and enterprise storage technologies – especially AWS high availability environments – clustering, AWS VPC, load balancers
• Windows Server OS
• Enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, AWS solutions)
• Lifecycle Management (acquire, provision, automation, retire)
