SEEKING INTERNATIONAL CHEFS!

We are looking to expand our talent base to over 3,000 staff for our Australian operations in 2023. Are you a qualified Chef with experience in event catering, hotels or large restaurants? Have you dreamed of working in Australia? Now you can combine both!

What does a typical day look like?

You will be working in a busy, open plan kitchen preparing & cooking various international hot & cold meals in commercial quantities, for our customer airlines.

In a summary, your main responsibilities are:

• Preparing over 8,000 hot & cold meals daily for business & economy class passengers for many different airlines.
• Stock control & minimizing food wastage.
• Cleaning & maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times.
• Strictly following menu specifications as well as all Australian Food Safety / HACCP, Work Health Safety & QSAI policies.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

• Must hold relevant culinary trade qualifications equivalent to AU Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Passion & drive to deliver high quality food to our customers.
• Ability to work a 7-day rotating shift roster.
• Good written & verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational & time management skills.
• Must be motivated, hardworking & have a good attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchens, catering or five-star hotels preferred.
• As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
