About the Opportunity

Boral have a newly created opportunity for a Digital Designer & Studio Lead to join our Brand Communications & Marketing team. Based in North Ryde, you will provide high quality design leadership and services across a range of media and platforms, in line with business requirements and professional quality standards.

As the custodian of the Boral brand, you will have ownership of all brand compliance including the maintenance, application and evolution of our guidelines. With a key focus on optimising usability and accessibility, you will be responsible for developing and executing a range of creative design solutions and content for our digital and print channels.

This is an exciting time of change and improvement for Boral, where you will have the rare opportunity to take ownership of this newly created role and influence innovative changes to the way our Brand Communications & Marketing team work. 

Duties

• Identify, analyse and define graphic design requirements for project briefs in consultation with internal clients
• Optimise and streamline workflow processes and implement enterprise file management practices to ensure business continuity and maintenance of brand and creative assets
• Devise, develop and produce creative graphic design using a range of graphic design tools and technologies to meet specified project requirements and ensure innovative design solutions across a range of media 
• Design and develop graphics, gifs and animations for use across Boral’s digital platforms (web and social media)
• Develop high quality digital design concepts using wireframes to provide visual representations of the structure of web pages and digital content for mobile applications
• Build and contribute to design capability including evaluation, testing and recommendation of new graphic design software applications, rich media technologies and solutions

What are we looking for?

• 5-10 years’ experience in a digital design role within a large, complex organisation
• Demonstrated experience in implementing asset management and design solutions within a high volume environment
• Successful record in managing priorities and projects simultaneously, and achieving positive & measurable outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate, influence and instil confidence
• Natural problem solver with a curious mindset and drive to deliver solutions
• Tertiary qualifications in design/ digital design
