Healthscope Limited is a leading operator of private hospitals in Australia. We are seeking an experience Food Service assistant to work at Newcastle Private Hospital on a permanent part-time or Casual basis.

As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer/patient service.
• Preparing and serving food throughout the facility / designated area.
• including, setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages.
• Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
• Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a difference.

Selection Criteria:

• Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
• Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend work
