Hickinbotham, South Australia’s largest and longest-established building and development group, is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in our modern office close to the CBD.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing professional to join our highly regarded leadership team in a stimulating environment. This important senior role would suit a high-calibre individual with excellent people skills and a pragmatic “can-do” approach.

This role will suit a positive individual who is comfortable working within a dynamic group and who has operated across a breadth of marketing areas, including print and digital media, advertising, promotions, websites, events and public relations, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities of this challenging and rewarding role include:

  • Managing the marketing operations of the group and leading the marketing team to deliver on set goals and KPIs
  • Developing the annual marketing program, including the promotional calendar
  • Creating and coordinating media campaigns in consultation with the management team and reporting on their effectiveness
  • Maintain productive relationships with our graphic, digital, social, PR and media agencies
  • Coordinating regular market research and identifying areas of opportunity
  • Monitoring and assessing contract performance
  • Ensuring that all marketing material and publications are in line with company guidelines and continually improved to drive consumer engagement
  • Preparing documents for company tenders, external newsletters and internal communications
  • Developing and managing the marketing budget
  • Coordinating the opening and closing of new display homes, including photoshoots
  • Providing timely reports to management to assist in effective decision making

The successful applicant will be a bright, energetic self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.  The ability to respond quickly and professionally is vital, as is a track record in achieving results, taking the initiative, prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment.

Along with being reliable, loyal and trustworthy, you must have the following attributes:

  • A minimum of five years experience in a similar role with a track record of success
  • The relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Clear and concise written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • A proven ability to achieve objectives and demonstrate actual results
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate professionally, pragmatically and with influence
  • A passion for driving organisational performance
  • A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
  • A communicative and collaborative approach to working with stakeholders, both externally and internally
  • Strong business acumen
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly developed presentation with excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite as well as the Adobe Creative Suite
