The Client & Role:

Our client is a higher-education institution based in the eastern suburbs; they’re currently looking for an experienced trainer with a strong background in Power BI one of their key internal transition projects. You will be engaged for a 6-month period and working with the Change Manager transforming the way they store, analyse and report on their enterprise data. With the adoption of Power BI as the standard method of analysis and reporting,

Responsibilities:

Assessing the suitability of standard (e.g. Microsoft) courses.
Helping to prepare customised Power BI training materials (with use-cases), including short videos.
Facilitating face-to-face and online training sessions.
Coaching individuals.
Attending support drop-in sessions and providing support.
Assisting with training logistics, feedback and reporting.

Required Skills & Specialisms:

Extensive experience with Power BI
- Report and visualisation experience essential
- Knowledge and experience with both Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service
- Data modelling and DAX programming preferred
Certificate(IV) in Training or equivalent experience
Prior training development experience (text-based and video)
Prior training facilitation experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills
