About the opportunity
We are seeking a passionate business development professional to assist us driving our national business growth opportunities and brand awareness across our key panels such as Federal Government, Local Government, State Government, Defence and Higher Education.
This role will involve working with warm leads to generate business, actively pursuing new clients within our panel arrangements, building trusted professional relationships and providing tailored recruitment solutions across all our services lines;

  • Executive Recruitment
  • Permanent Recruitment
  • Contract Recruitment
  • RPO/Flexible Talent Solutions

You will work closely with the CEO, GM and Managers on strategic sales plans, creating, managing and measuring the sales pipeline and sell a range of talent solutions to clients, which will be delivered by our team of experienced Recruitment Partners.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional to make a difference by demonstrating to clients how Harrison McMillan’s trusted, and transparent recruitment model can save time, attract exceptional candidates and reduce recruitment challenges in their organisation.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven Business to Business sales experience
  • Previous experience in a recruitment role, either internal or agency
  • The ability to work with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a tailored recruitment solution.
  • Able to demonstrate previous success in a sales role, including your ability to establish new customer relations.
  • Highly driven with high levels of energy and the passion to deliver successful recruitment outcomes.
  • The ability to identify new client opportunities and target these clients with the view of Harrison McMillan becoming their trusted partner.
  • Previous experience in tender writing, social media or marketing is highly advantageous.
  • Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and a drive to achieve sales targets.
  • An ambitious self- starter who is ready to take advantage of an excellent career and personal development opportunity.
