Job Details:
Job Summary:Collect andorganisedata to develop procedures and manuals in accordance with contract requirements. Manual development includes researching, writing, editing, data collecting, and publishing. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and understand contract requirements as they apply to manuals
Request, collect, and organise data from a variety of sources, both internal and external
Develop manualsin accordance with contract requirements
Read and understand engineering drawings
Develop procedures
Attend meetings to produce minutes and capture action items
Keep records of tasks completed and provide summaries of items needed to complete manuals
Estimate hours for manuals
Provide proposal input and estimates
Provide cost to complete on project
May be required to support other activities to whatever extent their skills and knowledge may allow
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
Other duties as requested
Minimum Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Essential:
Degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
4 years prior experience writing technical documentation
Experience working within ITIL service management frameworks and processes
Strong computer skills with an ability to use a range of computer programs
Personal Qualities
Ability to multi task in a high volume, fast paced environment
Team player with an ability to work autonomously
Self-motivated
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
