About Your Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Graduate Software Engineer to join our team in Perth!
Our software powers critical systems that make the world a safer and more secure place. Our diverse solutions portfolio ranges from embedded real time through to web applications including mobile computing, allowing you to find your specialist niche or broaden your horizons.
As a Graduate Software Engineer with Thales your talent and ingenuity will contribute to the evolution and realisation of innovative solutions to complex problem spaces within agile software development ecosystems.
On any one day you can expect to:
- Collaborate with other team members across the organisation to design, develop and implement software solutions to complex problems on projects that really matter
- Use your considerable initiative to help evolve and improve the way we think about, develop, deploy and deliver software
- Enjoy the social environment and culture of the workplace, through building relationships and working together to overcome challenges
How About You?
- Recent degree qualification in in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline with a minimum credit average, or be in the final year of completing for graduation end of 2023
- Leadership experience demonstrated through previous employment or extra-curricular activities whilst studying university
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work within a diverse and inclusive team environment, results focused, resilient, resourceful and a thirst for solving problems
- Initiative, inquisitive and a desire to challenge yourself and continuously keep learning
