Quality Assurance Supervisor

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.

The role:

Reporting to the Compliance Manager and working closely across other departments within the business, you will have an integral role in the business ensuring compliance to site food safety and quality systems, driving improvement programs and initiatives, and leading the site Food Safety Culture Program. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Driving a positive food safety and quality culture through the education of teams across the site.
• Actively measuring the food safety and quality culture performance of the site and developing improvement programs where needed.
• Working collaboratively with the site to achieve targets and measure milestones outlined in the food safety and quality culture action plan
• Identifying, escalating, and investigating food safety and quality issues.
• Leading a high performing team of QA Officers, driving high standards of quality and food safety and compliance to site food safety and quality programs
• Coaching and mentoring QA Officers and identifying training and development needs for the QA Team.

Your skills and your experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• You have had exposure to iLeader, Promptu & Bizerba systems.
• You have strong knowledge of HACCP.
• Basic understanding of AUSMEAT, Export, GFSI and QA language.
• You can inspire and motive all members of the Quality Assurance Team to achieve difficult goals and increase the level of performance from everyone within the team.
• Committed to ensuring all work undertaken is approached with a high degree of honesty and integrity.
• Ability to easily build a rapport with internal and external key stakeholders.
