How you’ll make a difference 

As Recruitment Officer you are responsible for delivering an efficient, cost effective and timely recruitment process. While you will build and maintain a pipeline of quality candidates and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. It is an exciting time for to join Ability WA and we are looking for a vibrant, self-driven and passionate person to join our team. 

There are currently two positions available – one position is fulltime permanent, while the second position is for a 6-months period and part-time can be considered. 

As our new Recruitment Officer you will:

• Build and maintain strong working relationships, and consult with business unit representatives, the HR Lead and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver workforce needs in a timely way.
• Provide end-to-end recruitment including job advertising, phone screens, interviews, assessment centres, reference checks, compliance collection, contract preparation and on boarding
• Maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates and provide exceptional candidate care throughout the recruitment process using your friendly and professional manner
• Attract and select quality candidates by using proven techniques and strategies as well as utilising preferred media or agencies.

What we are looking for
If you are successful through our recruitment process, we will need the following before you start:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable) or equivalent with demonstrated experience in a human resource related role, either as an HR Officer or Recruitment Officer.
• Previous experience in bulk recruitment in a high volume environment with ability to operate under tight deadlines is highly desirable
• National Police Clearance no older than 6 months
• Current Driver’s Licence
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module
• NDIS Worker Screening check 
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
