About the Role 
The Student Engagement team at Swinburne University of Technology is looking for a Reception and Administration Officer to join their AccessAbility team!

This exciting role will report to the Team Leader, AccessAbility Services and provides reception and administrative services for the AccessAbility team. These services are provided through varied communication methods, including face to face, phone and direct or generic email systems. The role will require a customer-focused approach in dealing with a broad range of stakeholders from students, staff, team members and the external community. 

The position will also support the AccessAbility team programs and services including liaising with the Schools and external student support providers.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated expertise in the administration support of students and faculties  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, to deliver customer service to a diverse range of clients  
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels and vary communication style accordingly  

Qualifications

  • Completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
