Project Exploration Geologist $150k

Job Description
Junior exploration company requires the expertise of a project geologist with 5 years exploration experience under thier belt.
Duties of the role:
- Mentor and coach the junior graduates to improve individual development and capability and enhance employee engagement and productivity
- Assist the technical department to implement mining methodology that minimizes dilution and maximises recovery of economic resources
- Collate and deliver accurate production and geological models, data, forecasts and associated reports within agreed timeframes to provide management guidance with progress/status against outlook, forecast and budget
- Contribute to the definition, implementation and monitoring of short, medium and long-term mine exploration programs to extend the Life of Mine (LOM) and increase reserves and resources
- Plan, organise and management of grade control and near mine exploration drill programs
About You:
- Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology
- Experience in a exploration mining environment – preferably gold – with proven geological interpretation experience
- Previous practical experience in exploration mining is essential
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and mining software such as Datamine and Leapfrog advantageous
- Possess a Valid WA manual Driver’s License
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
