Specialist Senior – Cyber Risk

What will your typical day look like?

You will leverage your passion for cyber security and people to help our clients address their key cyber risks and support the assessment and design of Cyber Security Solutions to protect their core information assets. You will bring a technical mindset coupled with an ability to communicate technical issues in business language, and communication and interpersonal skills, which will enable you to engage at all levels of an organisation in relation to the cyber risk agenda. You will work with a diverse and driven team to assist organisations with a wide range of security advisory, transformation, and implementation services, such as technical cyber risk assessments, security design, security operations support, and implementation of solutions. As a Specialist Senior, you will bring technical know-how and lead junior staff to deliver projects and contribute to the culture of learning and impact within our cyber risk practice. Enough about us, let’s talk about you.You are someone with:• A passion for cyber security• Experience providing cyber security advice and uplifting cyber security capabilities• Strong communication and problem-solving skills• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders effectively at all levels of the organisation• Experience in some of the following areas: security assessment, security architecture, security operations; data protection; vulnerability management, data protection (e.g. DLP), Endpoint protection (e.g. CrowdStrike), email security, Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), identity and access management; cloud security (e.g. Microsoft M / Azure / Sentinel, AWS, GCP), or security testing• A broad awareness of security solutions• Experience with industry security frameworks (e.g. ISO, NIST, AESCSF, ISA, CPS, SACSF, etc.)• A strong desire to develop your skills and impact, providing cyber security advice to a range of digital and cyber transformation programs• An interest in working across multiple sectors including financial services, defence, energy & resources and public sector.• 3+ years of experience in cyber security or related area.
