Boral is seeking a driven individual to join their Concrete business as a Technical Support Officer. Reporting to the Concrete Technical Manager, you will provide technical support to the regional technical management team as well as:
- Ensure concrete mixes are setup under direction from Concrete Technical Specialists and Technical Manager as required
- Assist Technical Manager – Concrete and Concrete Technical Specialists with analysis of both raw material data and concrete performance data
- Identify shifts and trends in product performance and engage with technical team to address changes in material performance
- Undertake mix changes as part of QC review process and/or under direction from Concrete Technical Specialists and Technical Manager as required
- Provide ongoing product technical support to internal stakeholders and external customers
- Coordinate and conduct concrete trial programs for product development, R&D and ongoing business requirements as required
About YOU
- Proven experience within the concrete or civil construction industry preferred
- Computer skills and experience with using QestMix, QestLab and Command (desirable)
- A current drivers licence
- Well-developed time management and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety, health and quality
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
