Reporting to the Group Category Manager, the Category Lead- IT & Gaming role will be responsible for leading the commercial go to market activity for the gaming category for Crown Resorts. This includes Strategic Sourcing & Category Strategy Execution, post contract Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) in conjunction with the SRM Lead and business owners, and stakeholder engagement across the group and site-based gaming teams.

This role can be based in Perth, Sydney, or Melbourne.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Drive strategic sourcing events with the key focus on optimizing cost, quality, delivery & technology standards to the business

Oversee the day-to-day sourcing of new services and special sourcing to ensure they are in alignment with the overall category strategy

Provide leadership and innovation from a sourcing perspective towards environmental management and sustainability programs

Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers with the aim to be a first point of call for new innovative products and specials

Review and validate the market updates to internal customers on status of products, quality, availability and expected trends

Support Purchasing in delivery of consistent service, policy, and process

Key Selection Criteria:

Experience within IT Procurement environment withing a Commercial business

Experience in Contract Preparation, Sourcing and Tendering

A track record in identifying and delivering sustained cost reduction opportunities

Highly skilled in influencing and negotiation, both internally and externally

Well- developed communication and presentation skills

Ability to influence at all levels internally and externally

Excellent supplier relationship management skills

Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline

Ability to obtain and hold Casino Special Employee Licenses across Perth, Sydney & Melbourne
