Position: Special Education Instructional Assistant-ASD

Location: Reo

Work Days per Week : 5 days

Hours per Day : 6.75 hours

Salary: Per appropriate placement on the LEA master agreement salary schedule

Bargaining Unit: LEA

Posting Information: This position will be responsible for assisting with student arrival and pickup bus duty.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent plus two years post-secondary education OR completion of 60 semester hours OR an Associate Degree OR passing of ETS Assessment in reading, applied Mathematics and writing

3+ years of experience working with K-3 grades At Risk students preferred

.Experience planning with teaching staff and performing K-3 student interventions, working with individual and small groups.

Training in and knowledge of language arts/literacy components.

.Previous experience working with K-3 and the MTSS/RTI process.

Previous experience collaborating with staff and following a sequential intervention plan

Documented participation in literacy and/or math Professional Development.
