About This Opportunity 
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, energetic and highly organised Senior Administration Officer to support the effective and efficient operation of the School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering’s Teaching and Learning activities.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide advice and high-level assistance to academic staff in the interpretation of University policies and procedures relating to teaching and learning matters.
Assist with the implementation of strategies and work practices which will improve the workflow, efficiency, and effectiveness of the School’s Student Administration area.
Coordinate the processing of remark requests.
Act as Primary Unit Administrator for the Electronic Course Profiling system providing training and guidance to staff as required.
Make any required course catalogue changes in SI-net/JAC.
In consultation with the School Manager/Manager Academic Programs and Student Support, coordinate administrative processes on Student Misconduct matters
Act as secretary to the School’s Teaching and Learning Committee, including preparation of agendas and minutes, draft reports and submissions and take other action as required on behalf of the Chair.
Oversee the development and implementation of the School’s business process calendar for Teaching and Learning.
Oversee the maintenance of the content of the School’s internal and external websites relating to Teaching and Learning.
Coordinate the development and implementation of standard operating procedures related to student administration.
Manage and maintain appropriate electronic record keeping for the School’s Student Administration.

About You
A degree with subsequent relevant administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training with a commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the University’s policies and procedures related to student and academic administration or previous relevant experience which demonstrates the capacity to rapidly acquire such knowledge and the ability to apply such policies and procedures.
High level of interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including students, staff and co-workers of the University.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, and independently with a customer service focus, as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet regular and conflicting deadlines.
Demonstrated strong analytical and literacy skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to identify problems and propose innovation solutions using initiative and sound judgement.
Experience working in an area of student or academic administration in a university or other educational provider and/or working knowledge of University administrative systems (SI-net, Business Objects, CRM, Uni-task) is highly desirable
What We Can Offer
This is a full-time fixed-term position through to December 2023 at Hew Level 6. Â
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $84,871.95 – $91,158.90 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range$99,300.18 – $106,655.91 per annum.Â
