Technical Sales Specialist

A leading global organisation who service a variety of sectors within the Food industry and in Pharmaceuticals is seeking to appoint a Sales Professional to join their team in Sydney. With a progressive and forward-thinking reputation, this is a brand-new opportunity for an individual  who has a strong Technical B2B Sales background who is involved in selling across the Food industry – Dairy, Bakery, Nutrition, Pet Foods etc. 

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales of products to several industry-related Food and Beverage manufacturers. You will work with a well-established and supportive team of professionals who are passionate, helpful and solution focussed.

You will work closely with the team to develop territory growth plans, develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and identify new business by consistently researching, converting sales and utilising your technical and sales skills to build your portfolio. 

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in a Food Science or related discipline 
• Proven ability to understand and execute sales concepts and practices
• Demonstrated industry experience in a similar role servicing wide range of customers and working across all levels of profession. 
• Practical selling experience with food ingredients and products
• Strong organisational and multidisciplinary skills 
• Must possess a valid driver’s license 
• ‘Can do’ attitude with the ability to work in a changing environment

You will have the opportunity to be client-facing, travel up 30% during the year and be provided with a clear career pathway.
