JoinGreat Southern Bank as a Senior Internal IT Audit Manager and play a pivotalrole in leading the execution of our Internal Audit Plan. Located in Brisbane or Sydney, youwill have the opportunity to support the Head of Internal Audit in deliveringthe Internal Audit strategy and furthering team development.

Aboutthe role

Asa Senior IT Internal Audit Manager, you will lead and deliver risk-basedinternal audit work across technology divisions of Great Southern Bank. Attimes this will be hands on scoping and executing IT audits and advisoryassignments while collaborating with the Internal Audit team and senior technologystakeholders, including Senior Leaders and Board Audit Committees as required.You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members to supporttheir career development.

KeyResponsibilities:

-Manageteams to deliver risk-based technology internal audits and advisory work acrosstechnology, including risk and control assessments of key business processes.
-Overseethe preparation and presentation of internal audit findings and reports tosenior leaders.
-Contributeto the development of a multi-year risk-based internal audit plan fortechnology.
-Fosterstrong working relationships with senior technology leaders and other key stakeholders.
-Mentor,coach, and advise team members and represent Internal Audit in key seniormanagement committees.
-Createa culture of exceptional service, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.

Essentialexperience

-Minimumof 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the financial or professionalservices industry, with deep understanding of IT and technology services.
-Peopleleadership skills, including effective people development, team leadership, andability to motivate staff.
-Substantialexperience in auditing, with financial services experience and knowledge ofrisk management frameworks highly valued.
-Excellentcommunication, reporting, and presentation skills suitable for Board andExecutive level stakeholders.
-Degreein accounting, finance, IT, or a related field.
-Relevantprofessional qualifications such as CPA, CA, CIA, or IIA.
