The Opportunity: 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Permenent Part time Chef to join our Pinjarra Hills Residential Aged Care team on a Permanent Part timel basis.

As part of our Hotel Services team, your role as Chef includes managing all operational requirements in a commercial kitchen, with the support of a dedicated team.

This role will entail: 

• Cooking high quality, nutritious meals for senior residents
• Adapting dishes to suit dietary, allergy and modified food requirements
• Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation
• Managing employee matters including rostering, training and performance
• Assisting the Residential Manager with associated budgets and costs

To be successful, you will have:

• Certificate IV Commercial Cookery or similar
• Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
• Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen in aged care or hospital
• Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe regulations
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Demonstrated experience managing team performance
• Current national police check (or willingness to obtain one) 
• Evidence of Australian work rights 
• COVID vaccination evidence in line with current requirements
• Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain one)
