ISMS Specialist

Brisbane based

The position takes responsibility for managing and maintaining our Information Security Management System, and covering tasks such as project coordination, administration of ISO27001 certifications.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the management and maintenance of Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with the ISO 27001 standards

Ensure that core ISMS documentation is accurate and updated in a timely manner, including the Risk Register, Information Asset Register, Statement of Applicability and Incidents and Corrective Actions Register.

Facilitate Security Steering Committee Meetings and produce meeting minutes

Schedule internal audit interviews

Create Budget Requests for infosec associated tools/applications

Produce information security measurements and metrics.

Ensure that vulnerability remediation actions are followed up.

Oversee security calendar tasks and ensure they are performed on schedule.

Facilitate and coordinate external compliance audits and ensure that audit findings are actioned as required.

Core Competencies, Skills and Experience

Aleast 5 years’ experience working in information security, audit and risk management.

End-to-end ISMS implementation experience.

Familiarity with key frameworks e.g. ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST.

Experience running workshops, demonstrations and training.

Proven ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders.

Experience with networking, software development or cloud platforms will be highly regarded.
