About the Role…
Â
As the Software Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing a new software system to meet the specific needs of our stakeholders. This project will be migrating a service arm of the business to a new Field Service and Asset Management system with a Customer Portal that will replace the old system for our stakeholders’ service operations. You will work closely with the Business Systems Manager to ensure that our software solutions are integrated seamlessly and ensuring that we can continue to meet the demands of our stakeholders.
 Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the software implementation process from start to finish, such as data migration, testing of data, testing the integration, user process training and support
- Process mapping and evaluation between systems to determine required functionality is met
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that software solutions meet business needs
- Understand the configuration of software and process workflows of the new system to facilitate the implementation process for both the IT team and end users
- Provide training to end-users to ensure that they understand the software solution and how to use the system effectively
- Provide admin training to IT team to support the system ongoing
- Provide ongoing support to end-users to ensure that software is being used effectively
- Effective change management skills to successfully achieve user migration to the new system
- Develop and maintain the software documentation and ensure that it is up to date

About the person…
Â
To be successful in this role, you will have recognised qualifications in computer science, computer information science and/or information technology. You will also have:
- Demonstrated ability and minimum 3 years of experience in software implementation and configuration including data migration.
- Demonstrated ability to develop/contribute to business case evaluation and conduct cost/benefit analysis for changes to business requirements
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills and documenting software integration/implementation setup
- Solid analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience as a project lead/manager
- Proven track record working in a dynamic IT team environment
- Knowledge of Pronto ERP and Field Service software including data analysis, data migration and software process mapping
