About the role

Are you an experienced Digital Recruiter seeking a positive career change? AEMO’s HR Shared Services Division have a fantastic opportunity as Talent Acquisition Advisor – Digital  to join our team and grow your career within the HR space. This role is being offered as an initial one year fixed term contract.  You’ll be given complete ownership to partner with the business, to ensure we attract and retain the most qualified individuals across our digital remit. Our Digital Division is accountable to operate, maintain, and deliver digital capabilities for all of AEMO to ensure AEMO fulfills its obligations across all jurisdictions and markets in which AEMO operates. This includes strategic technology foresight and plans, delivery of digital change, operation of critical infrastructure, key internal stakeholder engagement as well as operation of all of AEMOs IT applications and services.    

What you will be doing

  • You will business partner with Digital Hiring Managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the division and assist with their hiring needs.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle across a variety of open roles, will see you assisting managers attract, select and retain quality candidates.
  • You will prepare weekly updates on role status and work through forecasts for Divisions and Projects.
  • You’ll be involved in partnering with the Talent Team and Senior Managers, to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Streamlining the hiring experience, where we hire multiple ‘like’ roles across different teams within Digital.
  • Working on projects to enhance the recruitment experience.

What you will bring to the role

  • A wealth of experience working within agency or inhouse, within a digital / technology recruitment role.
  • You’ll demonstrate a solutions focused attitude, together with being adaptable to an ever changing environment.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management is key to this role, you’ll have the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
  • As a seasoned digital recruiter, you will have robust experience using HR tools such as ATS’s, HRIS’s, Seek, Indeed & LinkedIn Recruiter.
