Job Description

Our client has been a wholesaler and distributor of quality products to the outdoor leisure industry for over 30 years.

The main responsibility for this role to provide the accurate and efficient storage and dispatch requirements of products distributed by our client, in order to meet customer needs both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

Use of Counter-balance & Reach Forklifts to assist with Load and unload trucks when required for inward and outwards goods

Picking & Shipping Orders within 24 hours of receiving – Pick and ship orders daily using RF scanner

Receiving – Unloading of containers and receipting of orders when required

Replenishment – Assist with the replenishment of stock in pick bays

Use of Forklift both Gas & Electric

Use of Computer – Connote creation via freight platform

General warehouse maintenance – cleaning

Stock takes where required

Help keep work area neat and tidy

Qualifications and Experience

Forklift License

Pick/Packing

Invoicing and dispatching

Sound knowledge of warehouse distribution activities

Have sound reasoning ability

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral

Ability to adhere to timeframes/deadlines

Sound knowledge of computer systems

Knowledge of scan packing systems
