Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
Oversee the implementation of all new counter builds, upgrades, counter merchandising and in-store executions per the brand guidelines for Local Market and Travel Retail. Provide support of the overall marketing and advertising plans, with daily contact with marketing management and field teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Instore VM and Events
Implement creative executions to support monthly focus of marketing calendars Forecast store merchandising elements ordered from Global in OMP for new and existing stores. Manage and set up for new store openings on location. Create case line and counter planograms for department store and travel retail locations with bi-monthly updates tied to the marketing calendar Coordinate with the Marketing, Creative and Sales departments to ensure stores have necessary assets as determined by the store planogram Work directly with retail partner contacts to gain approval for all La Prairie initiatives as well as ensure that the retailer stays in compliance, inclusive of in-store events, visual week executions and counter enhancements. Assist in the design, sourcing, and execution of in-store and external events; and retailer, field and education meetings such as BA conference. Develop and manage an ongoing project list to ensure deadlines and budgets are met Store Design
Work within existing store development project management in both Regional and Global to ensure consistent Global design and construction processes and procedures Manage store delivery design and construction timelines, standards and expectations Establish working relationships with key design and construction consultants across industry and retailers and operators. Management of project cost, project delivery timeline, including possession dates, permitting, construction commencement and completion, and store delivery and target opening date Ensures processes and policies are consistent with corporate guidelines and best in class industry practices Management of internal project management program, Syreta. Oversees contractors and external construction managers, ensuring quality of workmanship, service levels and risk management
Store Maintenance
Manage store defects and repairs Manage maintenance budget KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in design or related field such as Product Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design) 3 to 4 years of experience in Project Management, experience in Visual Merchandising or related field such as Interiors or Store Design a plus Experience in the retail environment Strong multi-tasking, detail-driven, organizational, collaboration & communication skills Self-reliant, self-motivated, solutions-oriented design professional, with proven ability to deliver creative solutions on time and on budget Travel and occasional outside-store hours work required for installations Strong design sensibility and knowledge of current market trends a plus Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign-expert level Rhino / Vectorworks / AutoCAD a plus Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel-intermediate level
