  • HEO6 – TRP $96,086 – $103,670 pro rata, per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation
  • About the position

    The Bouverie Centre (Bouverie) is a values-based Practice-Research Centre of La Trobe University, within the School of Psychology and Public Health. Bouverie is also funded by the Department of Health (DH) as a clinical demonstration Centre, providing therapy services to families where a member suffers a mental illness or the effects of alcohol and drug use, and statewide training to the mental health workforce. As an integrated Practice-Research Centre, our research aims to understand how relationships and circumstances affect abilities to develop well, to care for ourselves and others, and to manage challenging times, at all stages in life, in all cultures, for all people. We work closely together with stakeholders to create meaningful research findings that support the well-being of individuals and families, and serve multiple practice, policy, public health, and research purposes. 

    The Marketing Officer will be a member of the Production and Marketing Team reporting to the team Manager and will be supported by the Centre Director and the Program Manager (Practice & Service Development). The incumbent will work across all areas of the Centre, including the Administration Team, the Practice and Service Development Team, Research & Academic Teams and the Clinical & Indigenous Teams. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and working with key internal staff in developing and implementing the marketing strategy.

    Skills and Experience

    To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Experience building and delivering end to end marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent grammar with high attention to detail, especially regarding written content.
  • Digitally savvy, with exceptional digital and multimedia (video, design & photography) skills supporting the creation and preparation of written, image and video content.
  • Understanding of how to identify and reach national and global target audiences, particularly in mental health.
  • Ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes within given timelines.
  • High-level proficiency in computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail (and mail merge distribution lists), social media, the use of the internet as a research tool and information management systems.
