All ongoing and fixed term employees seeking to apply for this position as a secondment must have completed a minimum of 12 months’ full-time continuous service to be eligible to apply for this role, as per Part D of the Recruitment and Selection Policy.About the Role The Office of Student Experience and Marketing are seeking to appoint a Sport Services Officer who will be part of the wider team that effectively provides opportunities for all students in sport, recreation, club and social events. In this position you will provide support to the Sports Coordinator to ensure and maintain the quality of sports based student life on behalf of the students. This includes overseeing the coordination and promotion of sports events, teams, programs and the communication of these activities with students as well as relevant staff, committees and organisations both within and outside the University. You will be required to be involved in sporting activities both during the week and on weekends where required. Out of normal hours and weekend work is required particularly during peak periods. You will also champion the values of the Student Experience & Marketing (SEM) and ensure their practice aligns to these values and service delivery contributing to the overall student experience.This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 8 months based at the Campbelltown campus.If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please apply ensuring you carefully address each of the selection criteria in your application. About YouTo be successful in this role you will have an undergraduate degree in Sports Management or related discipline and/or extensive related experience in a large and complex sporting organisation.
