Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / PMO Coordinator to join us until the end of March 2024, leading the migration of applications and systems to CEVA, under the Transitional Services Agreement associated with a recent company acquisition. 

You will manage the exit of services from external facilities, locations and data centres for operations based in Australia and New Zealand. The role involves a high degree of coordination with operational sites, IT applications, infrastructure and services, global data centres and property services to manage a successful exit from operations into CEVA ‘premises’. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

Specifically, you will: 

  • Lead the IT work stream, coordinating all activities from various internal and external teams, and act as central point of contact for communication of progress, issues, risks, and budget control (PMO) 
  • Prepare and maintain all required project documentation, such as project plans, budgets, risks and issue logs to professional quality standards with weekly progress reporting 
  • Manage all project resources to deliver small and medium-scale projects within agreed timescales and to agreed budgets
  • Undertake detailed project work, managing the project through all key stages from initiation to project closure
  • Manage service providers to ensure they consistently deliver high quality, value-for-money solutions to agreed criteria and within defined key performance indicators. 
  • WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    Our ideal candidate has proven experience as an IT PM and in PMO analyst / coordination in a large and complex commercial setting. 

    As we operate in a global, matrixed environment, flexibility will be required to attend virtual meetings with stakeholders in other timezones and outside of AU standard business hours (including NZ, EU and US) in order to fulfil transition and migration requirements.

    You should also have: 

  • Proven experience in PMO governance, tools / templates, tracking, budgeting, etc. 
  • High level understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, applications, servers, etc. 
  • Experience working with a PMO system (we use Orchestra) 
  • Applied understanding of accepted project management methodologies / frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2) 
  • Sound communication, planning, prioritisation and influencing skills 
  • Bonus: knowledge of transitional service agreements and/or exit strategies. 
  • In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
